COVERAGE AND COST

CANADIAN CITIZENS:

Free testing is available to anyone who is a Canadian citizen who has health care coverage. Simply present your health care card when you go in for testing.
* People from Quebec must pay upfront and then will be issued a receipt for reimbursement

INTERNATIONAL VISITORS:

The cost of an HIV test for someone without health care coverage in Canada ranges from $150 to $200 dollars. This includes the cost of lab work.

Most travel insurance does not cover HIV/STI testing.

NO HEALTH CARE COVERAGE? NO PROBLEM!

If you have no health care coverage and can not afford to pay for an HIV /STI test, you can now access FREE TESTING AND LAB WORK in Banff, Lake Louise and Calgary

Results can take up to a week for STI tests. Anyone getting testing done in Calgary will

have to make a return trip for their results.
